At M.I.F our pillars or ethos that we live by are Fresh, Sustainable, Wild. We pride ourselves on giving our customers the freshest catch possible. Processing Sockeye Salmon as soon as it is caught and flashed frozen within hours of being harvested. We want this company to be at the forefront of sustainability and longevity. Not just for us but for the Bristol Bay Sockeye Salmon species. Bristol Bay Sockeye Salmon is one of the last 100% wild salmon in the world and we are doing our best at M.I.F to keep it that way! Being a small family operation allows us to pay fisherman top dollar for their catch as well as giving our customers the best quality fish at a competitive price. We want to honor Sockeye Salmon as best we can. To do that we have to utilize the entire animal. Using the meat to make our signature cold smoked salmon and raw variety of products, Transforming the fish skin into dog treats, and harvesting the roe and turning it into Caviar. As is stands, M.I.F Seafood utilizes 75% of the fish, but that’s not good enough. Our goal is to use 100% of the fish by 2024 and with your help and support we are going to make that happen!
